Review/Stream:Beastplague-Self Titled LP

Fresh off their excellent split release with crushing partners in crime Shovelhead, South Florida's Beastplague has dropped yet another sonic blast of heaviness in the form of their 10 song debut full length. These songs show the band growing into even more of a force to be reckoned with, with their combination of grindcore, hardcore punk and fittingly classic Florida death metal influences, the band tears through these songs in the blink of an eye, leaving you wanting more immediately. Being from Florida myself, this is by far one of the most impressive extreme releases I've heard pop up from my neck of the woods in quite sometime. Fans of the new breed of extreme metal influences heavy hardcore bands such as Nails as well as sadly defunct grindcore legends Insect Warfare would be doing themselves a disservice if they didn't check this excellent release out asap. You can stream the entire record below via bandcamp as well as purchase a digital copy of the release via the link. Also check out their bigcartel below as well, where you can purchase a physical copy of the new release as well.
