Review: Kicked In- In Session

Kicked In from Kansas City, Missouri bring in 6 new songs of Youth Crew much in vein of The Rival Mob, Mental, Rampage, Jaguarz, Stop and Think and lastly Crunch Time. In Session has enough of the grove of all those bands combined to make this EP a must have for any major Lockin’ Out head out there or anyone who just likes top notch youth crew bands. The fact that Kicked In are an Edge band also gives them more points in my book due to the fact that many of the bands that back the Edge are playing on riffs that Gorilla Biscuits, Youth of Today and Judge have been using since the late 80’s but Kicked In bring in a new style to the table by adding all that with the aforementioned Loc bands to make a sound that you’ll be wanting to mosh all day. Honestly, when I first heard all of the songs, I knew that this EP would become one of my favorites of the year. I’m expecting big things to come of this band in the future.
